What is recorded here

Detached five-bay single-storey "cottage farmhouse", extant 1869, on a T-shaped plan with single-bay (three-bay deep) two-storey off-central return (north). Now disused. Pitched slate roof on a T-shaped plan with clay or terracotta ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks having stepped capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta octagonal or tapered pots, and remains of cast-iron rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on overhanging eaves forming "veranda" on cast- or wrought iron pillars. Rendered wall to front (south) elevation; limewashed lime rendered surface finish (remainder). Hipped square-headed central door opening with rendered surround framing timber panelled double doors having sidelights below overlight. Square-headed flanking window openings with cut-limestone sills[?], and rendered surrounds framing four-over-two timber sash windows. Square-headed window openings (north) with concrete sills[?], and concealed dressings including timber lintels framing one-over-one timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Set in unkempt grounds.
