Terraced single-bay three-storey house, extant 1838. Renovated with replacement shopfront inserted to ground floor. One of a pair. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered red brick header bond eaves retaining cast-iron downpipe. Replacement rendered wall to front (west) elevation with rendered "bas-relief" strip to end. Square-headed window openings (upper floors) with drag edged dragged cut-limestone sills, and rendered "bas-relief" surrounds over concealed red brick block-and-start construction centred on keystones framing one-over-one timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Interior including (upper floors): timber surrounds to door openings framing timber panelled doors with timber panelled shutters to window openings. Street fronted with concrete footpath to front.
