Freestanding single-bay single-stage over raised base signal box, commissioned 1895; extant 1895, on a square plan. Decommissioned, 1975. Now disused. Pyramidal slate roof with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond "wallhead" central chimney stack to rear (east) elevation having corbelled stepped stringcourse below capping supporting terracotta octagonal pot, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on slightly overhanging timber boarded eaves. Red brick Running bond walls on chamfered cushion course on red brick Running bond plinth. Paired camber-headed openings (base) with sills, and red brick voussoirs framing fixed-pane fittings behind iron mesh panels. Square-headed "monitor window" (cabin) with timber surround framing fixed-pane fittings behind iron mesh panels. Interior retaining levers. Set in grounds shared with Kiltimagh Railway Station.
