Detached seven-bay single-storey former national school, built in 1868, with gabled entrance front. Hipped and pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystacks, vents and cast-iron rainwater goods. Cut limestone walls with tooled limestone quoins and date plaque. Timber sash windows. Flat-headed cut limestone arch to north gabled elevation with timber battened door. Random stone wall divides rear yard. Outdoor public conveniences to rear yard.
