Freestanding limestone cenotaph erected in memory of Patrick Flaherty who died 1830. Comprises rubble plinth having recessed inscribed limestone plaques to front face flanked by dressed stone work and topped by rubble coping surmounted by rubble stone work and base of broken cross. Quarter arc of sun's rays to top corners of lower plaque. Monument set in field close to roadside.
