Detached five-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800, with lean-to extension to rear (south) elevation. Now in use as public house. Pitched thatch roof with low rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with painted stone sills, with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, and fixed multi-pane timber window. Square-headed door openings with timber battened doors. Painted timber nameplate over door, with raised lettering. Single-storey outbuildings flank front of house, western being three-bay and eastern being single-bay, having pitched corrugated-iron roofs, rubble stone walls, and square-headed openings. Set back from road at junction.
