Freestanding gable-fronted Roman Catholic church, dated 1959, with tetrastyle portico to front (north-east) elevation, six-bay nave elevation, single-bay chancel, sacristy behind latter, and with square-plan three-stage bell tower attached to south-east end of front elevation, attached by above ground connecting passage. Pitched slate roof to nave, with cast-iron cross finials, cast-iron rainwater goods and render eaves course, render broken-based pediment to front gable. Hipped slate roof to chancel, flat roof to sacristy, and pyramidal sheet metal roof to tower. Pebbledashed walls with rendered plinth, carved limestone date plaque and flanking rendered pseudo-pilasters to front elevation. Square-headed window openings with leaded stained glass, triple windows to sacristy, oculus stained-glass windows to front and chancel gables, render sills throughout, with render surrounds to nave windows. Square-headed door opening with double-leaf timber panelled door having overlight, approached by concrete steps, set in rendered portico with cylindrical piers having capitals and surmounted by frieze and moulded cornice. Interior has marble altar furniture, rendered coffered ceiling, round chancel arch, timber panelled gallery, and timber confessional. Vehicular entrance to front of site without gates, flanked by steel pedestrian gates with flanking rendered piers, and pebbledashed boundary walls to front of site. Graveyard to rear of site with upstanding grave markers. Set back from road with lawns to front.
