Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1820, having three-bay two-storey return to rear with flat-roofed two-storey extension to north side, and canted-bay windows with hipped roofs to west side elevation. Flat-roofed two-storey extension to rear return. Recent single-storey extensions to rear. Hipped slate roofs having terracotta ridge tiles with lined-and-ruled rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, having replacement steel casement windows to front elevation, and timber sliding sash windows with nine-over-nine panes, twelve-over-twelve panes, and six-over-six panes to return and side elevations. Segmental-headed window openings to rear extension having stone sills and replacement timber windows. Segmental-headed door opening to front (south) elevation having decorative door surround with canopy supported on carved timber brackets, and timber panelled door with geometrically glazed sidelights, and cobweb fanlight. Square-headed door opening to rear extension having replacement half-glazed timber panelled door with overlight. Elliptical-headed carriage arches set in rendered boundary wall adjoining east elevation leading to rear yard. Former outbuildings to rear of house having pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and roughcast rendered walls and replacement timber fittings. Now in use as apartments. Property is set within its own grounds with mature trees.
