Two-pile three-bay single-storey lighthouse keeper's house, built 1817, attached to Mutton Island lighthouse. Pitched slate roofs with cut granite chimneystacks and render copings. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with bipartite three-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed doorway with timber battened door with overlight. Flat-roofed outhouses having roughcast painted and unpainted rendered walls, square-headed window openings with fixed-pane windows and square-headed door openings with battened timber door. Painted roughcast rendered enclosing wall having rendered coping and lintels to gateways with cast-iron gates.
