Detached three-bay single-storey gate lodge, built c.1830, having pedimented entrance porch to front (south) elevation. Now disused. Hipped slate roof with rock-faced rusticated chimneystacks with carved cornices, timber corbelled eaves course, and some lead flashing. Cut limestone pediment to porch, with pulvinated upper rails. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls with tooled limestone quoins and plinth course. Square-headed window openings with raised tooled limestone surrounds and cut limestone sills, windows boarded. Square-headed door opening set in segmental-headed recess, with chamfered limestone surround and timber panelled double-leaf door, and cut limestone step. Set inside entrance gates to Woodlawn.
