Freestanding T-plan Roman Catholic church, dated 1871, though more likely to have been built c.1840 and perhaps remodelled 1871. Renovated 1958 and canted porch added to west. Pitched slate roof with metal cross finials to gables. Painted and roughcast rendered walls, with smooth rendered plinth. Inscribed limestone plaques to west gable. Pointed arch windows with stained glass. Interior has tall wide pointed arch recess to sanctuary flanked by lower and narrower recesses containing statues, marble altar and arched brace A-framed timber truss roof.
