Single-arch road bridge, built c.1855, over River Clare. Shallow segmental arch of large blocks of limestone, soffit now gunnelled. Walls and parapet of rusticated blocks, with blocks laid flat on parapet as copings. At either end of parapets are semi-circular blocks to define ends of bridge. Plaque inscribed 'John Gill Contractor Galway 1856'.
