Farmyard complex, c.1810, about a courtyard comprising: (i) Detached four-bay two-storey farmhouse. Renovated, c.1910, with single-bay single-storey gabled advanced porch added. Extensively renovated, c.1960. Renovated, c.1985, with entrance reoriented to rear (south-east) elevation having single-bay single-storey projecting glazed porch added to left ground floor. Pitched roof (gabled to advanced porch) with replacement artificial slate, c.1960, clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and replacement plastic rainwater goods, c.1960, on rendered eaves having timber fascia. Hipped artificial slate roof to additional porch with clay ridge tiles, and plastic rainwater goods on timber eaves. Unpainted replacement cement rendered walls, c.1960. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and replacement timber casement windows, c.1960. Segmental-headed door opening to advanced porch with timber panelled door, sidelights, and overpanel. Square-headed openings to additional porch with glazed timber panelled door, and fixed-pane flanking lights having casement sections. Set back from road in own grounds fronting on to courtyard with unpainted rendered wall along front (south-east) elevation having unpainted rendered piers with wrought iron gate. (ii) Attached two-bay single-storey outbuilding with half-attic to left (south-west) retaining early aspect. Pitched slate roof with red clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted lime rendered walls over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, timber lintels, and 1/1 timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door. (iii) Detached single-bay single-storey outbuilding to south-east with two-bay single-storey lower end bay to right (south-west). Pitched slate roofs with red clay ridge tiles, and no rainwater goods. Limewashed lime rendered walls over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed door openings with timber lintels, and timber boarded doors. (iv) Detached eight-bay single-storey rubble stone outbuilding to south-west with pair of segmental-headed carriageways, and two-bay single-storey lower end bay to left (south-east) having pair of square-headed carriageways. Pitched slate roofs with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond squat chimney stack, rendered coping, and remains of cast-iron rainwater goods. Limewashed random rubble stone walls with dressed stone quoins to corners, and buttress to front (north-east) elevation. Square-headed window openings (most slit-style) with timber lintels, and timber fittings. Square-headed door openings with timber lintels, and timber boarded doors. Pair of segmental-headed carriageways with rubble stone voussoirs, and timber fittings. Pair of square-headed carriageways to end bays with timber fittings. (v) Gateway to south-east comprising pair of unpainted rendered piers with rendered capping, wrought iron double gates having finials, and sections of limewashed random rubble stone flanking boundary walls to perimeter of site.
