Farmyard complex, c.1790, on a quadrangular plan about a courtyard comprising: (i: north range) nine-bay two-storey rubble stone range with elliptical-headed carriageway to centre (accessing courtyard), and elliptical-headed carriageways to left and to right ground floor. Part refenestrated, c.1990, with carriageway remodelled to left ground floor. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay and rolled lead ridge tiles, cut-stone chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on squared rubble stone eaves. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and block-and-start surrounds. 12/12 timber sash windows with some fixed-pane timber windows, some timber boarded panel fittings, and replacement timber casement windows, c.1990, to remainder. Elliptical-headed carriageway to centre with cut-stone block-and-start surround, voussoirs, and wrought iron double gates. Elliptical-headed carriageway to left ground floor remodelled, c.1990, with cut-stone block-and-start surround, voussoirs, and replacement timber casement windows, c.1990, having overlight. Elliptical-headed carriageway to right ground floor with cut-stone block-and-start surround, voussoirs, and timber boarded double doors. (ii: east range) eight-bay two-storey rubble stone range. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on squared rubble stone eaves. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and block-and-start surrounds. 3/3, 6/3 and 12/12 timber sash windows with some timber boarded panel fittings. Square-headed door openings with cut-stone block-and-start surrounds, and timber boarded doors. Interior with timber panelled shutters to window openings. (iii: south range) eleven-bay single-storey rubble stone range with elliptical-headed carriageway to centre (accessing courtyard), and pair of elliptical-headed carriageways to north and to south elevations of each flanking bay. Pitched slate roofs with clay ridge tiles, cut-stone coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on squared rubble stone eaves. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar. Square-headed elongated slit-style window openings with no fittings. Elliptical-headed carriageway to centre with squared rubble stone voussoirs. Elliptical-headed carriageways to flanking bays with cut-stone voussoirs, and timber boarded doors. (iv: west range) five-bay two-storey rubble stone central block with pair of elliptical-headed carriageways to ground floor, three-bay two-storey lower flanking bay with dormer attic to north-west, and two-bay two-storey lower flanking bay to south-east. Pitched slate roof to central block (hipped to flanking bay to north-west; pitched (shared) to flanking bay to south-east) with clay and rolled lead ridge tiles, square rooflights to flanking bay to north-west, and cast-iron rainwater goods on squared rubble stone eaves. Random rubble stone walls with lime mortar. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, and block-and-start surrounds. Replacement timber casement windows, c.1990, with some fixed-pane timber windows, and possibly retaining original fittings to some openings. Some square-headed slit-style window openings to central block with no fittings. Square-headed door openings (including to first floor central block approached by flight of cut-stone steps on a T-shaped plan over segmental arch with cut-stone voussoirs, and cut-stone coping to parapets) with cut-stone block-and-start surrounds. Glazed timber panelled doors with timber panelled door to first floor central block. Pair of elliptical-headed carriageways with cut-stone voussoirs, and glazed timber panelled double doors having fanlight-style detailing.
