Detached three-bay single-storey school with half-dormer attic, c.1870, on an L-shaped plan with two-bay single-storey gabled projecting bay to right having single-bay single-storey projecting porch to left, and three-bay single-storey side elevations. Extensively renovated, c.1995, to accommodate residential use. Pitched slate roof (hipped to projecting bay and to porch) with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.1995, on timber eaves. Random rubble stone walls (originally rendered with render removed, c.1995) with dressed limestone quoins to corners, and cut-stone course to gable to side elevation. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, some replacement concrete sills, c.1995, rendered surrounds, c.1995, and replacement uPVC casement windows, c.1995. Square-headed door opening with rendered surround, c.1995, replacement uPVC panelled door, c.1995, and sidelight. Set back from road in own grounds with tarmacadam forecourt.
