Detached three-bay two-storey gate lodge, c.1890, originally on a T-shaped plan with single-bay single-storey projecting porch to centre. Extended, c.1915, comprising single-bay two-storey return to south-west. Renovated and refenestrated, c.1990, with entrance reoriented to rear (south-west) elevation. Now in private residential use. Pitched slate roof (hipped to porch and to return) with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls with rendered stringcourse to first floor to original block. Round-headed window openings to original block (some paired) with stone sills, and rendered surrounds. Segmental-headed window opening to porch (originally door opening remodelled, c.1990) with replacement concrete sill, c.1990, and rendered surrounds. Square-headed window openings to additional range with rendered sills. Replacement uPVC casement windows, c.1990, to all window openings. Square-headed door opening with replacement tongue-and-groove timber panelled door, c.1990. Set perpendicular to road in own grounds with side (north-west) elevation fronting on to road, and painted rendered boundary wall to perimeter having painted rendered piers with wrought iron gates.
