Five-arch humpback road bridge over River Tar, built c. 1840, with flat-headed concrete flood arch to south end. V-cutwaters on upstream, west elevation. Elliptical-headed arches, middle being wider and taller, with dressed limestone voussoirs. Rubble limestone walls, soffits and parapet walls with concrete coping to parapet walls and to cutwaters. Large pipe carried across east elevation.
