Gateway erected c.1820, consisting of decorative cast-iron gate piers on square plan flanked by cast-iron pedestrian and double-leaf entrance gates and with cast-iron railings on cut limestone plinths curving to outer square-plan tooled ashlar limestone piers with segmental-headed faces to caps. Single-storey gate lodge inside gates.
