Freestanding tapered round-plan stone chimney, built 1824, now disused. Coursed sandstone and limestone rubble masonry walling. Multiple-bay three-storey gable-fronted engine house to east, now roofless, having coursed sandstone and limestone rubble masonry walls with roughly dressed limestone quoins, square-headed openings to first and second floor and round-arched opening to ground floor having ashlar limestone voussoirs.
