Freestanding monument to Charles Kickham, republican, poet and novelist, unveiled 1898. Composed of bronze figure of Kickham in seated pose on coursed cut limestone stepped pedestal, moulded between steps and with moulded cornice. Incised inscription to recessed panel on north face. Situated at highest elevation of Kickham Street at junction with Main Street.
