Freestanding cast-iron water hydrant, erected c. 1870, with round, fluted shaft, moulded base with bucket stand and fluted domed cap with acorn finial. Plain round spout. Maker's name 'Glenfield and Kennedy' on shaft. Set on octagonal limestone plinth.
