Wall-mounted rectangular cast-iron post box, erected between 1910 and 1925, with open letter flat with lettering: Post Office, and crown emblem above. Panelled face with timetable frame and integrated pull handle and GR insignia. Maker's name in relief to base reads: W.T. Allen, London. Post box has been reset in a concrete block rebuilt corner of a squared and coursed rubble limestone wall.
