Freestanding cast-iron lamp standard, erected c. 1880. Modern replacement steel glazed lantern attached to original fluted tapered cast-iron column. To the top is a pair of foliate former brackets while the base has a bull nose moulding on an octagonal plinth. Framed relief panel to plinth with lettering 'H. Lee & Sons, Engineers & Co., Limerick'.
