Detached five-bay single-storey national school, built c. 1880, with single-bay single-storey gabled projecting entrance bay to centre. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystacks and projecting eaves. Painted roughcast rendered walls with render plinth and two limestone plaques to gabled bay. Limestone profiled sills and surrounds with chamfered reveals to timber six-over-six pane sliding sash windows. Rubble boundary walls to street with stone-on-edge coping.
