Milk Market, built c. 1880, comprising pair of detached eight-bay single-storey buildings with series of segmental-headed integral carriage arches to south elevation of range to north. Partly renovated and remodelled in latter part of twentieth century with lean-to continuous canopy inserted over entrance bays to range to north to accommodate commercial and storage use. Pitched artificial slate roof, south building hipped at west end and retaining slates in places. Timber posts on cemented plinths support eaves. Limestone rubble walls. South building painted. Replacement fittings to openings.
