Detached three-bay single-storey former gate lodge, built c. 1840, now in use as private house. Renovated and extended to north-west in late twentieth century with five-bay single-storey parallel range. Pitched and hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, central rendered chimneystack and replacement aluminium gutters. Rendered walls. Pointed arch openings with limestone sills and timber multiple paned sliding sash windows having switch-track glazing bars to upper sliding sash windows. Replacement door. Gateway, built c. 1840, to south comprising pair of red brick piers with wrought-iron gates.
