Freestanding cut-limestone Celtic Cross style memorial and fountain, dated 1887, on a limestone ashlar base with inscribed plaque. Attributed to J.F. Fuller. Cut-stone plaque inscribed: "Erected in memory of James Butler of Waterville by the neighbours and friends who honoured and loved him MDCCCLXXXVII".
