Freestanding double-height Gothic Revival style former Church of Ireland church, built c. 1815, with three-bay nave, singe-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to south elevation, single-bay double-height lower chancel to east gable end, two-bay single-storey lean-to sacristy projection to north-east corner and single-bay three-stage tower to west gable end. Nave and chancel extensively reconstructed, c. 1865, with tower retaining original aspect. Renovated in late twentieth century to accommodate use as museum. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, gable limestone coping, moulded springers and replacement gutters on limestone corbel table. Battlemented parapet and corner pinnacles to tower. Random rubble limestone walls with ribbon repointing. Rubble stone walls to upper section of tower having corner piers. Single or paired lancets to nave and chancel with limestone ashlar surrounds, relieving arches, iron lattice glazing panels and stained glass panels. Lancet east window. Pointed arch to door opening with replacement door. Freestanding cut-stone Celtic Cross style grave marker, c. 1820, to site. Gateway, built c. 1865, to south comprising pair of stone piers with wrought-iron gates.
