Detached three-bay single-storey former school house, dated 1888, with single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch to centre. Now disused and derelict. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles and central brick chimneystack. Roughcast rubble stone walls with brick quoins. Plaque to porch reads "Callinafercy National Schools 1888". Remains of timber six-over-six pane sliding sash windows with limestone sills. Gateway, built c. 1890, to south-east comprising pair of rendered piers with wrought-iron gates.
