Detached single-bay single-storey former house, built c. 1895, originally part of larger composition, possibly three-bay. Former home of Pádraig Ó Cátháin, 'King of The Blaskets'. Truncated, c. 1960, to accommodate use as outbuilding. Pitched tarred canvas sheeting to roof with cement gable parapet to south end. Random coursed rubble stone walls. Square-headed openings with stone lintels and replacement timber-framed casement window. Replacement matchboard door. Overgrown site without landscaping. Remains of continuation of original composition to south-west.
