Detached seven-bay two-storey former Magdalen Asylum, built c. 1865, terminating left hand side and right hand side bays are gabled. Various single- and two-storey extensions to sides and rear. Now disused. Pitched natural slate roof with limestone ashlar chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Nap rendered walls with limestone quoins. Single and paired timber sliding sash windows with limestone sills. Timber half glazed door with limestone surround. Trefoils to gabled bays. Single- and two-storey outbuildings.
