What is recorded here

Detached irregular-plan single and double-height former school, built 1885, now in use as house. Comprising three-bay block with gabled double-height central bay, having two-bay recessed block to north-east, single-bay double-height gabled block projecting to rear (north-west) and single-bay block projecting to south-west. Pitched and hipped slate roofs with red brick chimneystack, recent dormers and uPVC rainwater goods. Rubble stone walls with plinth, red brick quoins, and plaque inset to gabled front bay. Camber-headed openings with red brick block-and-start surrounds, concrete sills and timber casement windows. Round-headed door opening with timber glazed door. Square-headed door openings with rendered and red brick block-and-start surrounds and timber glazed doors. Outbuilding to north-west. Concrete wall to front (south-east).
