Detached three-bay two-storey over basement and with dormer attic house, built c.1880, incorporating fabric of earlier house, built c.1780. Central projecting gable-fronted bay and gable-fronted dormered oriel windows to front (south), four-bay two-storey return and lean-to stairwell block to rear. Pitched slate roofs having rendered chimneystacks, uPVC and cast-iron rainwater goods and ornate timber bargeboards to gables. Dressed rubble limestone walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with tooled limestone sills and dressed rubble stone voussoirs throughout. Bipartite, tripartite and four light timber-framed windows having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows and timber casement overlights. Tooled limestone supporting corbels to oriels. Four-light timber casement window to gable of projecting bay and two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows to rear (north) elevation of return. Pointed arch stairwell window opening with stone sill and rubble stone voussoirs to side (west) elevation of lean-to, having replacement timber casement window. Square-headed door openings to side elevations of projecting bay, having glazed timber doors with overlights surmounted by pitched roofed canopies having ornate timber bargeboards, finials and corbels. Square-headed door opening with rubble stone voussoirs and timber surround to rear elevation having glazed timber door. Set within own extensive grounds with attached rubble stone walls and derelict outbuildings to rear.
