Detached hexagonal-plan gate lodge, built c.1830, with extension to west elevation. Currently vacant. Pyramidal slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rubble stone walls. Pointed arch window openings with cut limestone sills, fixed timber windows and dressed stone voussoirs. Pointed arch door opening to east face having dressed stone voussoirs and timber battened door. Angled rendered piers and wrought-iron gates with cut limestone wheel guards to associated gate.
