Detached eight-bay single-storey barracks, built c. 1870, with lean-to porches. Now disused. Hipped slate roof with red brick chimneystacks, cast-iron rainwater goods and raised roof vents. Red brick walls. Segmental-headed openings to long elevation, having four-pane timber windows. Square-headed openings to short elevation, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows and limestone sills and lintels. Square-headed opening with timber matchboard door.
