Freestanding single-cell double-height Roman Catholic church, built c.1880, having five-bay nave with recent porch to front (south-east), sacristy to rear (north west) and recent extension to side (south-west). Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered bellcote with cross finial and uPVC rainwater goods. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls, having exposed rubble limestone walls to rear (north-west) elevation of nave and sacristy. Raised render motif with crucifix to porch gable. Pointed arch window openings with stone sills to nave, having replacement uPVC framed lead-lined stained glass windows. Camber-headed window opening with stone sill to sacristy, having uPVC framed lead-lined stained glass window. Square-headed window opening with render sill to porch, having uPVC framed lead-lined stained glass window. Square-headed door opening to porch with double-leaf timber battened door. Rendered enclosing wall with square-profile rendered piers to front of site having steel gates. Rubble stone wall to rear of site. Set back from road.
