Detached three-bay two-storey former station master's house, built 1862, with gablets to outer bays to front (east) elevation, flat-roofed single-storey single-bay porch to front and multiple-bay single- and two-storey extensions to north and rear (west) elevations. Now in use as house. Possibly incorporating fabric of earlier dwelling. Pitched slate roof with carved timber bargeboards and red brick chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed openings with render surrounds, timber battened external shutters and replacement uPVC windows. Square-headed door opening to porch with replacement uPVC door.
