Detached two-bay two-storey over basement country house, built 1832, with five-bay side (south) elevation. Portico to front (east), two-storey extension to side (north) and full-height canted bay window and extension to rear (west). Hipped slate roof with overhanging stone eaves, rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls, slate hanging to side (north) elevation and painted stone plinth course and rendered platband below eaves. Square-headed window openings with limestone sills throughout, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to first floor of front elevation, nine-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows to ground floor of front, side (south) and rear elevations. Six-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows to first floor of side (south) and rear elevations. Six-over-three pane timber sliding sash window to basement of side (south) elevation and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows with moulded render reveals to canted bay window and rear extension. Round-headed stairwell window opening to side (north) elevation with limestone sill, having nine-over-six pane timber sliding sash window with spoked fanlight to upper sash. Round-headed door opening with tooled limestone doorcase to front elevation, comprising chamfered surround with engaged Composite columns. Timber panelled door surmounted by spoked fanlight, set behind semi-circular plan tooled limestone tetra-style portico, having Doric columns and pilasters on stepped plinths surmounted by entablature. Set on flight of bowed tooled limestone steps. Set within own extensive grounds.
