Detached multiple-bay single-storey hospital ward, built 1954, having central projecting bays with recessed verandah to front (south) elevation, and central projecting bays to rear (north) elevation having recessed entrance bay. Flat roof with timber bargeboards and eaves. Rendered end walls, corrugated-iron cladding to rear walls, and timber battened cladding to front walls. Pilotis to verandah. Full-width strip window with vertically divided steel fixed and casement windows with pivoting overlights to front elevation. Square-headed timber-framed openings with steel fixed and casement windows having pivoting overlights to rear elevation. Glazed timber double doors with horizontally divided sidelights to rear entrance. Square-headed openings to west and east elevations with timber battened double-leaf doors and overlights.
