Detached four-bay single-storey house with basement, built c. 1830, having conservatory and lean-to addition to east side, latter containing entrance doorway, and another possibly earlier block at right angles to north. Shallow-hipped roof with overhanging eaves and with chimneystacks to ends of ridge. Square-headed one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, those of basement being above ground to west. Cobbled courtyard to east with outbuilding having stone walls. Another yard of buildings to rear again. Road entrance comprising tooled rubble stone walls terminating in square-plan stone piers having caps and decorative double-leaf wrought-iron gates.
