Detached L-plan two-storey house, built c. 1760, comprising six-bay north-south block, with three-bay block at right angles to north, latter having lower projecting return to south side. Hipped artificial slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Rubble sandstone walls. Square-headed window openings having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows with brick block-and-start surrounds and voussoirs and render sills. Round-headed stairs window opening to rear having dressed sandstone voussoirs with limestone keystone and recent fixed timber window. Segmental-headed door opening to main block with limestone block-and-start surround and voussoirs with sandstone keystone and replacement timber door, sidelights and fanlight, with limestone step. Five-bay single-storey outbuilding to north, having pitched slate roof, rubble sandstone walls, recent limestone plaque to east elevation, and square-headed window and door openings with brick voussoirs. Three-bay two-storey outbuilding to south having pitched slate roof and rubble sandstone walls, square-headed window openings and elliptical-arched vehicular entrances with roughly dressed sandstone voussoirs. Elliptical-arched vehicular entrances to gable ends of south outbuilding and addition having dressed sandstone voussoirs. Recent carriage arch to north-west. Recent sandstone and limestone piers and walls to north.
