Detached five-bay two-storey house with attic, built c. 1830, having lower two-storey returns to each end of rear, western being four-bay and eastern being two-bay. Recent two-bay single-storey extension to west and projecting forward, and recent two-storey extension to rear between returns. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Pitched artificial slate roofs to returns and extensions. Exposed stone walls to east wall of western return, rendered walls elsewhere. Front elevation of house having moulded render string course between floors, render quoins and render plinth course. Camber-headed window openings having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows with render sills. Camber-headed six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to west extension. Windows to attic level are blocked. Round-headed door opening, set into exposed rubble sandstone walls and having brick surround and voussoirs, and replacement timber glazed door and spoked timber fanlight, approached by rendered steps. Single-bay two-storey outbuilding to east having pitched slate roof, rubble limestone and sandstone walls, elliptical-arch vehicular entrance with roughly dressed limestone and sandstone voussoirs, and square-headed timber battened door to first floor. Square-profile painted rendered piers with decorative cast-iron vehicular and pedestrian gates, set into painted rendered walls with metal railings.
