Detached T-plan five-bay two-storey over basement house with attic, built c. 1780, having recent conservatory to west gable. Pitched slate roof with brick chimneystacks and carved timber bargeboards to gables of end walls and return. Exposed rubble sandstone walls. Square-headed window openings throughout, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows, tripartite to middle bay of first floor of front elevation and of return, front and gable elevations having red brick surrounds and voussoirs and limestone sills and rear elevation having timber surrounds and lacking sills. Round-headed door opening to front with cut limestone surround with plinths and having carved keystone, fanlight and timber panelled door, approached by flight of rendered steps with limestone parapet walls terminating in square-profile rubble limestone piers. Courtyard of outbuildings to north, having pitched slate roofs and rubble sandstone walls with square-headed openings, having rubble voussoirs, some openings having timber battened doors. Six-bay single-storey outbuilding to east side having slit vents and recent quarry-glazed windows. Segmental-headed carriage arch to south gable. Six-bay single-storey outbuilding to west side, having vehicular entrance with timber lintel. Seven-bay single-storey outbuilding to north side, having fixed timber fittings to windows, and round-headed door openings. Elliptical-arched vehicular gateway leading to courtyard with rubble sandstone and limestone voussoirs. Square-profile rubble sandstone piers to road entrance, with rubble sandstone walls.
