What is recorded here

Gateway to south-east corner of Doneraile Park, built c.1830. Comprises cut limestone piers having moulded plinths and cornices, with ball finials and having rebates to gateway opening with scroll detail. Recent double-leaf sheet metal gate. Gateway set into rubble limestone boundary walls. Avenue from gateway formerly crossed now-ruined bridge. Pier in River Awbeg is of coursed dressed limestone with V-cutwater to west, upstream, side.
