Freestanding obelisk-style monument, erected c. 1945, comprising carved limestone memorial set on rock-faced granite plinth. South face has carved crossed rifles with Gaelic lettering 'Éire' in high relief below and scroll-style plaque above. Carved scroll plaque to north face. Square-plan surround with rendered plinth and rendered square-plan piers having cast-iron railing bars.
