Entrance gateway to Stannard's Grove house, erected c. 1870, comprising square-profile ashlar limestone inner and outer piers, linked by curved rendered walls with rendered copings. Outer piers have moulded limestone plinths and caps and inner have moulded plinths and decoratively moulded caps, with rebates for decorative wrought-iron vehicular gates. One stone inscribed and dated 1842. Jostle stones to inner pair of piers.
