Cast-iron water pump, c. 1880, sited on grassy road verge, set on elevated semi-circular rubble limestone platform with limestone steps to south side. Pump having banded cylindrical shaft, curved cow's tail handle, fluted neck and cap and foliate decoration to base of spout. Set against rubble limestone wall with round coping stones.
