Freestanding cruciform-plan gable-fronted Gothic Revival Roman Catholic church, built c. 1830, facing west, having breakfront to front, three-bay nave elevations, and two-bay single-storey extensions to east gable. Pitched slate roof with render cross finials and copings, with cut limestone openwork bellcote to gable-front. Pitched slate roof to extensions. Roughcast rendered walls, render quoins and plinth course. Pointed arch window openings with replacement timber windows, and limestone sills. Pointed arch door opening to gable-front with render surround and timber battened double-leaf doors having flanking pointed arch recessed holy water stoups with render surrounds. Pointed arch door openings to east walls of transepts, having square-headed timber battened doors with flanking holy water stoups, and having pointed window openings above. Roughcast rendered boundary walls, having sets of square-profile rendered piers, those to front having recessed panels and double-leaf cast-iron gates.
