Single track former railway tunnel, built 1902, now in use as walkway. Flat concrete and red brick roof. Concrete wall to west. Arcaded red and yellow brick wall to east having rusticated limestone quoins. Segmental-headed openings to arcade having yellow brick soffits, red brick voussoirs and piers. Square-headed entrance openings to north and south. Recent metal railings to arcade openings. Set between roadside and waterway.
