Detached three-bay two-storey former school, built c.1880, having lean-to addition to side (west) and two-storey addition and recent extensions to rear (south) including porch. Located on site of earlier building. Pitched slate roof with red brick chimneystacks, rendered eaves and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered chimneystack and uPVC rainwater goods to rear addition. Rendered walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with rendered and stone sills throughout, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to front elevation, two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows to side (east). One-over-one pane timber sliding sash window to side (east) elevation and timber casement windows elsewhere. Round-headed window opening to front (north) elevation, having timber casement window. Square-headed door openings to rear extensions, having replacement panelled timber and glazed timber doors. Rendered rubble stone enclosing wall.
